Who we are
UsefulHub is an independent website that offers free everyday tools for people in India and anyone else who needs them: PDF and image tools, calculators, converters, text tools, date and time tools, and simple guides to government schemes. The site is designed, developed and maintained by Shafiq Ahmad, who builds and updates every tool and page himself.

Our purpose
Many people only need to do one small job: merge two PDFs for a form, shrink a photo to the size a portal asks for, check an age limit for a recruitment form, or convert a CGPA to a percentage. These jobs should not need an account, an app download or a payment. UsefulHub gives you a clear, fast tool for each of them, free of charge and without sign-up.
How the tools work
Most tools run entirely inside your browser. When you merge a PDF, compress an image or calculate an age, the work happens on your own phone or computer and your files and answers are not uploaded to our server. The only exceptions are tools that need live data, such as the currency converter, which fetches published exchange rates from a named data source. Read our Privacy Policy for the details.
How we keep information accurate
- Currency rates come from a named source and are reference rates, not bank rates.
- Calculators use standard, publicly known formulas. Where a rule differs by institution (for example CGPA to percentage), we say so on the page.
- Government scheme pages are written from information published on official portals such as pmkisan.gov.in, nsap.nic.in, scholarships.gov.in and pmuy.gov.in. They are general guides, and we always link to the official website for the latest rules.
- If you find a mistake, please write to us and we will check and correct it.
What we are not
We are not a government department, a bank, a legal adviser or a financial adviser. We are not connected to any government scheme or agency, and we do not process applications. Please read our Disclaimer.
How the site is funded
UsefulHub is free to use. To cover hosting costs we may show advertisements, such as Google AdSense. Advertising never changes a tool result and we do not endorse the products advertised.
